The Multi-Purpose Hall is the largest program / activity room in Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre. The room hosts 2 – 3 programs per day between the hours of 8:30 am and the Centre’s closing at 4:30 pm. Programs held in the Multi-Purpose Hall each week include: Active POUND 55+, Evening POUND, Zumba GOLD, Floor Curling, Carpet Bowling, Darts, Floor Shuffleboard; Keep Fit Exercising with Arthritis, Intergenerational Programs, Fit Ball, and Line and Social Dancing. This room is also used for the Centre’s monthly Outreach Program for isolated and home-bound seniors, and it is the venue of a weekly licensed Bingo.
Nord-Bridge evening programs held in this room include: Line Dancing, Barre, Beginners Pickleball, Golden Fit, Couples Dance, and Table Tennis. Finally, the Multi-Purpose Hall is home to many of the Centre’s larger socialization and fund-raising events like the Annual Craft & Bake Sale, Entertainment Festivals, Whoop-Up Days Pancake Breakfast, & the Health Fair. It is also often used as one of the primary North Lethbridge polling places for Federal, Provincial and Municipal elections.
As the Multi-Purpose Hall can be secured from the central core of the Nord-Bridge facility, this room is rented on weekends for Weddings, Anniversaries & Special Events, and for Banquets, Parties & Meetings. Access is ground level, with power door operators.
The room is equipped with its own sound and audio visual systems, and with Wi-Fi access.
